Yes. Every class on the schedule is open to complete beginners, and your first one is free. Book it on the trial page or simply call ahead so we know you're coming.
For your first class, athletic clothes with no zippers or pockets, a water bottle, and flip-flops for walking off the mat. We'll lend you a gi for Jiu-Jitsu if you need one. For Muay Thai, bring hand wraps if you have them; we have loaner gloves.
No. You get in shape by training. Classes scale to the person in front of the coach, and nobody is asked to do more than they can.
About 15 minutes before class the first time, so we can meet you, walk you through the space and get a waiver signed.
Gi Jiu-Jitsu is trained in the traditional uniform, which allows grips on the collar, sleeves and pants. No-Gi is trained in a rashguard and shorts, with no cloth grips, and moves faster. Most people train both; the two-art membership covers everything.
Only when you're ready and only if you want to. Jiu-Jitsu classes end with live rounds that beginners can join at their own pace. Muay Thai sparring is technical, controlled and always optional.

Not as a separate class. Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai are each taught as full sports and with MMA in mind, so what you learn works in the cage as well as in competition. MMA sparring sessions are invite-only for fighters and advanced students. More.
Yes. Women's Jiu-Jitsu runs Thursday at 7:00 AM and Saturday at 12:00 PM. Women are of course welcome in every other class too.
Kids Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai are split into ages 3–6 and ages 6+, weekday afternoons, plus an all-ages class on Saturday mornings. See the schedule.
The first 40 members lock in a lifetime rate — $249 per month for one martial art or $299 per month for both — with the registration fee waived. Regular rates are $289 and $339. When the 40 spots are claimed, the offer is gone for good. Details.
